Effiba Kojuah Amihere is a legal practitioner, called to the Ghana Bar  and has been in private practice since. She is also a graduate from the University of Cape Coast . As a private legal practitioner, she has since 1998, served her clients in diverse capacities. As a pupil in Ghartey & Ghartey, she was first introduced to working for the interest of women and children in distress – neglected children, widows being cheated out of their entitlements, displaced wives and other family issues. At Global Legal Consultancy, where she moved to work after her pupilage, she was introduced to land litigation and worked in diverse capacities from the preparation of indenture to registration of lands at the Land Title Registry and did some work on Trusts and Estates of deceased persons.

She moved to Effiba Amihere Associate, a business law firm where she widened her scope of practice to serve clients needing services spanning the scope of Notary Public, Company Secretaries and the like. As a firm that specialized in Construction law, she served clients ranging from Government agencies, public companies, engineers, architects, surveyors and contractors and providing legal input to project administration and representation of clients in construction disputes. She has always been at the forefront of AWLA’s projects and activities wherever we have to go to raise the Status of women and help women to ACCESS JUSTICE.
